Andrew Marr showed his true contempt for democracy on Sunday when questioning Jeremy Hunt on a no deal Brexit.
During the segment, Marr states that entrepreneurs “will lose their companies” if no deal happens.
Not only has this been proven false, but his statement goes against the BBC’s own impartiality agreement.
The BBC charter states “The Agreement accompanying the BBC Charter requires us to do all we can to ensure controversial subjects are treated with due impartiality”
This is not the first time that Marr’s impartiality has been questioned. In the week before the European Elections, Marr chose to invite 5 remainers onto his show and not a single Brexiteer.
Perhaps the BBC and Andrew Marr should familiarise themselves with their own charter?
