FANTASTIC: Britain Signs Trade Agreement With Canada

Britain signed an interim trade deal with Canada today as officials rush to cement trading relationships in preparation for existing the EU.

Under the terms of the agreement, the UK and Canada will continue to trade with the same terms as the current EU system after the Brexit transition period ends.

The UK government says the temporary arrangement paves the way for future negotiations on a tailor-made UK-Canada trade deal.

Boris Johnson today said: ‘This is a fantastic agreement for Britian which secures transatlantic trade with one of our closest allies’.
