Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s charitable foundation spent more in legal fees than it raised in 2020, according to financial filings.
The woke Sussexes, who have supported causes such as Black Lives Matter and climate change, only raised tens of thousands of dollars in 2020 for their US-based charity Archewell.
According to documents revealed by the Daily Mail, Harry and Meghan’s charity raised less than $50,000 (£37,000) in 2020. In the United States, charities that raise less than $50,000 are not required to detail their income and expenses.
The documents also revealed that the couple’s UK-based charity, MWX Foundation, spent at least $55,600 (£41,000) on attorneys, meaning the couple’s charity foundations spent more on legal fees than it raised for charitable purposes.
